Chude Jideonwo to speak at Spectrum Academic Symposium

Founder of Joy Inc. and co-founder of RED, Chude Jideonwo is scheduled to speak at the 2018 Spectrum Year Book Class Symposium hosted by the College of Medicine, University of Lagos on December 5, 2018.

The event themed “Crossing the rubicon: the transition to working life as a healthcare professional” will see him speak on the sub-theme “First do no harm to yourself”, a topic that aims to leverage on the excellent work with Joy, Inc.

The goal of the event according to its organizers is to fortify medical students with information that would help them deal with the pressure and burnout common among healthcare professionals that is sometimes complicated by the onset of mental health issues.

Chude Jideonwo to give keynote address at JCI Lagos Coral’s annual convention

Founder of Joy, Inc., Chude Jideonwo has been invited to serve as Keynote speaker at the 18th Annual Convention and Investiture organized by the Junior Chambers International (JCI)- Lagos Coral.

He will be speaking on the theme, “The Audacity of an Active Citizen; a Necessity for New Nigeria”

The convention which holds on Saturday, December 1, 2018, in Lagos, will also witness the inauguration of the 19th President and the executive board of the organization.

According to the organizers, the Convention is intended to bring together seasoned entrepreneurs, impact the emerging business minds through mentoring and first-hand business experiences and skills.

Founder of Joy, Inc. and co-founder of Africa media group, RED, Chude Jideonwo will be speaking at the 26th Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF) on November 3, 2018, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel, Pennsylvania, USA.

He will be speaking on a panel focused on Youth, New Generation Politics, and Social Activism.

Chude Jideonwo to speak at the Lagos Book & Art Festival

Founder of happiness company, Joy, Inc. and author of the book ‘Are We The Turning Point Generation’, Chude Jideonwo will be speaking at the Lagos Book and Art Festival 2018.

He will be sharing on ‘What We Plan’ at the LABAF Symposium holding at Kongi’s Harvest Art Gallery on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Other speakers at the Intergenerational Dialogue include Eghosa Imasuen, author of To St Patrick and Abubakar Adam, author of Seasons of Crimsons Blossoms.

Also speaking at the symposium on ‘What was the Plan?’ are Prof. Akin Mabogunje, 85, author of A Measure of Grace, Titus Okereke, 76, author of Our Father’s Land and an elderly Northern writer (he must have written a book).

The Lagos Book and Art Festival [LABAF] has manifested as a yearly ritual for top-notch publishers, adherent book lovers, literary activists and artists of all hues, attracting huge patronage from members of the public across ages and divergent persuasions. Chude Jideonwo to chair panel discussing solutions to fake news in Nigeria

The workshop will have in attendance top editors from reputable print, broadcast and digital platforms in Lagos state, Nigeria to discuss the consequences of fake news and proffer solutions to mitigate the problem in Nigeria.

Organised by African Centre for Media Development, the workshop will hold on Wednesday, 26th September, 2018 at the LCCI Conference Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.

Chude Jideonwo to speak at Diplomacy and Strategic Studies Symposium in UNILAG

Founder of Joy, Inc. and co-founder of Africa media group, RED, Chude Jideonwo will be speaking at the maiden symposium organised by the Diplomacy and Strategic Studies Think Tank Group, University of Lagos on Saturday, October 13, 2018.

He is scheduled to present a paper titled “Corruption and lack of accountability; a bane of underdevelopment in Africa”.

The symposium, which has the theme “On African Political Systems”, is hosted by the Diplomacy and Strategic Studies (MDSS) Think Tank, a think tank group drawn from 2017/2018 of the Diplomacy and Strategic Studies Class in the University of Lagos who have special interests in public and international affairs.
